AṢA (pronounced ah-sha) exists to give a deeper reading to content from the continent with a particular focus on media – we’re talking film and series. It’s not JUST Nollywood (although there is a lot of it).

It’s a space where the curious and the enthusiastic can come to find out more about the deeper meaning within the commercial (and prolific) Nigerian film industry and beyond.

The site features critical essays, thematic reviews and general musings on the themes explored in films  and series made on the African continent and distributed to the world. Not sure what I mean?

Check this out: What is it with Nollywood?
